is being planned for Friday 2nd November 2018 in St Patrick’s church at 7:00pm.  If you would like the name of a loved one who has died, read out during the Mass, please add their names to the lists at the back of our churches. PLEASE PRINT CLEARLY. Lists will close on Sunday 21st October and must be returned to the parish office on that date. The intention for this Mass will be for All the Souls of the Faithful Departed.

After recent consultation with the parishes in our cluster, His Grace, Archbishop Leo Cushley has decreed that, as of 28th October 2018, St Patrick’s, Lochgelly and Ss Kenneth & Bernard’s, Ballingry, will unite and be known as the parish of  St. Patrick’s.   As of 4th November 2018, Our Lady & St Bride’s, Cowdenbeath, will unite with St Joseph’s, Kelty, and will be known as the parish of The Holy Family.  Copies of the decrees are displayed at the back of each church.

Before departing for his pilgrimage to the Holy Land, Fr Franco extended his sincere thanks to his brother priests and all the parishioners and friends who came to his recent Silver Jubilee celebration.  He enjoyed his time immensely and is very grateful for all the good wishes, cards and generous gifts. He will remember us all in his prayers abroad.

Father Franco will shortly celebrate 25 years of priestly ministry.  To mark this occasion, Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 26th September 2018 at 6:30pm in St Joseph’s, Kelty.  After Holy Mass, a social gathering has been arranged in Kelty Ex-Servicemen’s Club where a hot & cold buffet will be served.  Tickets for the social are £5 per person and children under 12 years of age are free.  Tickets are now available from the following:
