If you know of a forthcoming visit to hospital involving serious illness or an operation and you wish to receive the Sacrament of Anointing, please speak to the parish priest and arrange to be anointed before admission. Once in hospital, if you wish the Sacraments [Holy Communion, Confession, Anointing] please ensure that you make your wishes known to the hospital chaplaincy through the charge nurse on the ward. Please do not leave your request to the last minute as you may not be guaranteed an immediate response.

House Renovation Appeal raised £3650 (Aug 17 – Apr 18). Building Fund £2400 (Aug 17 to date). Work to front elevation cost £7400 (July 17). Phase 2 completed last month £9000. Phase 3 will commence 2019 weather permitting. Your donations and generosity are greatly appreciated.
Parishioners of St Bride’s church, are invited to donate poinsettias to adorn the front of the altar and crib this Christmas. Families may attach their names to these gifted plants and the Christmas Masses will be offered for their intentions.
St Joseph’s, St Patrick’s & Ss Kenneth & Bernard’s churches are appealing for items for the local foodbanks this Advent. All donations of non-perishable foods and toiletry items will be gratefully received.
